While this year is fading, we look forward to a wonderful holiday season with family and friends. The members of N.E. Alabama Genealogical Society wish each of you a happy holiday season.
2011 will bring the usual flurry of activity for our society as we begin preparation for our Annual Ancestor Swap Meet. We spend many hours planning the event and then many more making it happen. The 2011 event will be held on April 16th at the Senior Activity Center in Gadsden. We are very happy to have our friend J.Mark Lowe as our speaker. He has so much to share with those of us who "try" to do family history. We will have more on the Ancestor Swap Meet later, as we plan more events for the week.
We appreciate any suggestions that you might have for our society. It is our hope to have more posts for the blog in the new year. BE SAFE this holiday season and we'll see you next year.
